It is always fun to have a little home DIY project to do in your down time over the weekend! My friend Georgia is the queen of arts and crafts. She found a rad idea from Miss Renaissance, to create the cutest succulent pots. These little pots are perfect for your home or even gifts for your friends! You can find all you need to make them at your local hardware store.
Have some fun this weekend getting creative and create these amazing pots in just five simple steps…
Apply 2 coats of Pot Sealer, drying in between each coat.
Spray with Primer (follow drying instructions for the particular primer you use). The spray we used was both a primer and colour, win win!
Apply your chosen Colour Spray Paint (use as many coats as necessary – be sure not to be too heavy handed with the spray as it will cause drip marks).
Once completely dry, use masking tape to mark your chosen gold leaf area. Apply a THIN layer of glue and then the gold leaf.
NOTE: Be very delicate with this as it is quite difficult to use! Follow instructions on packet!
Once set, plant your succulents! If you plan to keep your pots outside, spray again with sealer.
